Province Lake Ladies’ Golf League

The PLGC Women’s League wrapped up their 2008 season with a field day on September 9, 2008. Unfortunately Mother Nature decided that the golf would be delayed until another time due to a deluge of raindrops! Nevertheless, the ladies enjoyed a wonderful luncheon at the club restaurant.

The theme, “Friendships, Old and New” honored past members who joined the current members to renew old friendships and reminisce about golfing at Province Lake in the good old days. Awards for achievements over the season were given to the current members.

A raffle for an original watercolor painting was held to raise funds for the League and Carol Clarke was the lucky ticket holder.

The Opening Day for the 2009 Season of the PLGC Ladies’ League will be held on June 2,2009 We look forward to another wonderful golfing season and welcome all women .
